Body Shop Estimator

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Body Shop Estimator to join our team at Stephen James Group.

As a Body Shop Estimator, you will be responsible for providing a courteous and efficient estimating and reception service for the Body Shop department.

You will assess Bodyshop, S.M.A.R.T Repairs and extended warranties to customers, record a list of damages to the customers vehicles, and use Audatex to calculate costs and the time required to complete all necessary repairs accurately and professionally.

You will also liaise and negotiate repair approvals with insurance engineers and customers, complete job packs and prepare invoices in an accurate and timely manner.

To be successful in this role, you will need to have excellent communication skills to communicate credibly with our customers.

You will also need to be able to develop rapport and trust with customers and to resolve conflict situations calmly and reasonably.

You will work to high standards, be self-motivated and able to multitask in a busy environment.

You will have proven experience working in a similar role in a busy Bodyshop centre, preferably with Audatex accreditation.

You will also need to have a valid clean UK Driving Licence and be eligible to work in the UK.

We offer a competitive salary with an OTE of £42,000 per annum, with company car.

Working hours are Monday to Friday, 8.00am to 6.00pm.
