Our client is a leading public sector organisation in the UK, renowned for its commitment to quality services and high standards in all operations.
Job DescriptionWe are seeking an experienced Interim Management Accountant to join our finance team on a temporary basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Preparing and presenting monthly management accounts
- Assisting with year-end statutory accounts and audit preparation
- Providing financial analysis and reports to support decision making
- Supporting budgeting and forecasting processes
- Ensuring compliance with financial regulations and standards
- Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives within the finance team
- Engaging with various stakeholders to ensure accurate financial reporting
- Assisting with ad hoc finance projects as required
The ideal candidate will have a recognised accounting qualification, strong knowledge of financial reporting and accounting principles, and experience in preparing management accounts and financial reports. Oracle experience is preferred.
