Covering a wide geographical area, this role involves working with a leading social housing provider to manage planned maintenance contracts, including kitchen and bathroom renovations, window and door replacements, and damp and mold remediation.

As a Building Surveyor, you will be working closely with senior building surveyors to support them in managing their property portfolios and transactions. Your responsibilities will include managing technical and complex projects from start to finish, providing a highly professional and competent service with a focus on exemplary customer service.

**Key Responsibilities:**

• Conducting thorough inspections of buildings to identify areas of concern and develop recommendations for improvement.
• Assisting senior surveyors in managing their property portfolios and transactions.
• Preparing technical due diligence reports to inform decision-making.
• Performing building pathology surveys to identify potential issues and develop solutions.
• Monitoring construction work and the performance of project design teams to ensure compliance with building regulations and industry standards.
• Producing reports to clients and engaging in face-to-face communication to provide updates and address concerns.
• Traveling to appointments throughout the UK, primarily in London and the South East.
• Developing and maintaining expertise in dealing with Party Wall matters, Dilapidations, Defect diagnosis, and Contract Administration.
• Staying up-to-date with current building regulations and industry developments.
• Managing contracts from start to finish, including budgeting and scheduling.
• Establishing and maintaining relationships with external stakeholders.
• Requiring a reliable vehicle for business use.

**Hourly Rate:**

£28 PAYE OR £36 CIS (Individual UTR number required)
