We are seeking a skilled Junior Estimator to join our team at Caval Limited, a leading Civil Engineering company based in the UK. As a Junior Estimator, you will play a crucial role in supporting our Senior Estimator in preparing and submitting bids for groundworks and reinforced structures projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the preparation of tender documents, including estimating and quantity surveying
  • Collaborate with the Senior Estimator to develop and implement estimating strategies
  • Conduct site visits to gather information and assess project requirements
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders
  • Participate in the development of company policies and procedures related to estimating and project management

Requirements:

  • 1-2 years of experience in estimating, preferably in a civil engineering company
  • Strong understanding of civil engineering principles and practices
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Proficiency in estimating software and tools
