We are seeking an experienced and motivated Clinical Nurse Specialist to join our Systemic Anti-Cancer Therapy (SACT) team at University Hospital Southampton NHS Trust. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of our services.
Key Responsibilities- Provide expert clinical care to patients receiving systemic anti-cancer therapy, including chemotherapy and radiotherapy.
- Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Contribute to the development and delivery of education and training programs for staff and patients.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and experiences.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care transitions and coordination.
- Registered nurse on the relevant part of the NMC register.
- Level 7 Post Grad Cert (Min 60 Credits), Master's Degree within a relevant specialty or equivalent knowledge.
- Specialist training/qualification in area of practice.
- Experience of leading learning in practice and supporting colleagues to promote learning.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
