As our Lead Technical Architect, you'll play a key role in shaping the future of our observations data estate. You'll lead the strategic thinking on future technologies and systems, defining, designing, and supporting the implementation of solutions that meet our needs.

You'll be responsible for communicating and justifying design decisions within the context of our strategic direction, making and driving decisions, managing change, and taking part in wider Met Office initiatives.

Our total reward package includes an outstanding Civil Service pension, Recruitment Retention Allowance, and annual leave starting at 27.5 days (plus Bank Holidays) rising to 32.5 days (plus Bank Holidays) after 5 years.
