Job Title: DevOps Engineer / Linux Systems Administrator

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled DevOps Engineer / Linux Systems Administrator to join our existing DevOps team at Spectrum IT Recruitment. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, deploying, and configuring cloud-hosted infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement CI/CD processes to ensure seamless deployment and configuration of cloud infrastructure.
  • Develop and maintain automated deployment scripts using Terraform and Ansible.
  • Administer databases, including PostgreSQL, to ensure high performance and reliability.
  • Provide general Linux infrastructure administration, including server build and support.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in building, deploying, and supporting Linux servers.
  • Strong knowledge of Linux distributions, including Debian and CentOS.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages, such as Bash, Python, and Shell.
  • Understanding of networking fundamentals.
  • Experience with JIRA and CI/CD tools.

Desirable Skills:

  • AWS experience.
  • Knowledge of Ansible and Terraform.
  • Experience with PostgreSQL and MySQL.
  • Understanding of firewalls and virtualization technologies, including VMWare and vSphere.
