Core Responsibilities:

  • Welcome customers with a friendly demeanor as they enter the store and assist them throughout their shopping journey.
  • Offer detailed product insights, suggestions, and effectively respond to customer queries.
  • Maintain an organized, clean, and visually appealing sales floor, ensuring products are attractively displayed.
  • Restock merchandise on the sales floor, managing inventory levels and product arrangement.
  • Support inventory control efforts, including conducting stock counts and replenishing items.
  • Process customer transactions at the register, handling cash, card payments, and managing returns or exchanges.
  • Address customer concerns or complaints with professionalism and a positive attitude.
  • Promote ongoing sales, discounts, and loyalty initiatives to enhance the shopping experience.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to achieve sales targets and uphold high customer service standards.
  • Assist in store operations by organizing displays, tidying up, and managing stockroom tasks.
  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including health and safety regulations, to maintain a secure shopping environment.

Qualifications:

  • Prior experience in retail or customer service is beneficial but not mandatory.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on customer satisfaction.
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic environment and manage multiple responsibilities.
  • Basic math skills for handling transactions and inventory.
