Job Description

Job Summary

MPowered Mortgages is seeking a highly skilled Product Development Manager to join our team. As a key member of our product development team, you will be responsible for developing and launching new products, ensuring they are correctly displayed on our website and third-party sites.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain relationships with sourcing and criteria systems to support product development.
  • Conduct market analysis and work with marketing to scope and develop changes to marketing materials and the website.
  • Assist in the launch and withdrawal of new product propositions, ensuring all parties have the relevant information in a timely manner.
  • Develop and maintain a good understanding of the MPowered proposition and carry out ad-hoc research as required.

Key Activities

  • Update sourcing systems with product and criteria information.
  • Assist in the launch and withdrawal of new and old products.
  • Conduct research on competitor products.

Qualification, Skills, Knowledge, and Experience

Qualifications

Essential

Ideally educated to degree level or equivalent market experience.

Desirable

CeMAP.

Skills and Knowledge

  • Excel (Advanced)
  • PowerPoint
  • Word

Experience

  • 2+ years' experience working for a mortgage lender, ideally in a B2B environment.
  • Experience working on your own initiative and being able to deal with people at a senior level.
  • Successful delivery of product solutions in a fast-paced, agile organization.
  • A high level of organizational and project management skill.
  • Strong analytical abilities, including the ability to distill a problem into its component parts.

Location

  • Our offices are located in Guildford. We offer a hybrid work arrangement, with a requirement to join us in the office about twice a week.
