Geo Engineer Job Opportunity

JP Engineering is seeking a skilled Geo Engineer to join our specialist land contamination team based in London. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for preparing Phase I desk studies, Phase II geo-environmental interpretative reports, and remediation verification reports.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Conduct Phase I desk studies and Phase II geo-environmental interpretative reports to assess contaminated land risks.
  2. Assist Graduate Geo-environmental Consultants as the team grows and develops.
  3. Support senior staff in undertaking Detailed Quantitative Risk Assessments and preparing Remediation Strategies.
  4. Project manage suitable projects and serve as the main client contact.
Requirements:

We are looking for a candidate with experience in contaminated land risk assessment, including preliminary risk assessments and GQRA for human health and controlled waters. A strong degree in environmental science, geoscience, or geology, along with postgraduate experience or qualifications in contaminated land risk assessment, is essential. Familiarity with GIS or coding is advantageous.
