We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Manager to join our team at Rhodium Consulting. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing sales strategies to drive business growth and revenue in the lighting industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute sales plans to achieve business objectives and sales targets in the wholesale and contractor markets.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with key customer accounts, identifying areas for mutual profitable growth and opportunities for new business.
  • Proactively seek out and convert sales opportunities into profitable sales, working closely with internal departments to ensure seamless execution.
  • Plan, forecast, and report on sales activity against key performance indicators (KPIs).

Requirements:

  • 2-5 years of experience in an external sales role with responsibility for wholesale and contractor accounts.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and communicate effectively at all levels.
  • Strong organisational and planning abilities, with the capacity to prioritise and meet deadlines.
  • Full UK driving license essential.

What We Offer:

  • Salary up to circa £50k plus company car, bonus scheme, and company pension.
