About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer to join our team at Agricultural Recruitment Specialists. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing and developing innovative mechanical solutions for our clients in the agricultural industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop mechanical drawings using AutoCAD and Autodesk Inventor (3D)
  • Collaborate with project teams to develop mechanical solutions that push the boundaries of innovation
  • Assist senior management in designing and managing projects that propel the company's growth
  • Ensure all designs are fully specified, released to consistent high standards, and delivered on time

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant Engineering discipline
  • Experience with automation and/or robotics systems
  • Project management experience
  • Strong leadership skills
  • Analytical and strategic thinking skills
  • Experience or interest in dairy farming would be desirable

What We Offer:

  • Salary: £43,000 - £48,000 DOE
  • 37.5 hour working week
  • Early finish on a Friday
