About the Role: As a Quality Manager, you will be responsible for improving the quality culture throughout the business, ensuring the delivery of a high-quality product, and maintaining compliance with quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Management of QA and QC Inspection Personnel: Lead and manage a team of quality assurance and control inspection personnel to ensure the highest standards of quality are maintained.
- Quality System Management: Work in accordance with the Group Quality Management System to ensure the delivery of a quality product and compliance with quality standards.
- Client Compliance: Ensure compliance with client specifications around inspection, quality records, and sourcing of materials.
- Continuous Improvement: Conduct investigations of non-conformances, identify opportunities for improvement, and implement a continuous improvement approach to enhance quality processes.
- Quality Documentation: Compile quality documentation in compliance with required codes and customer specifications, liaising with customer representatives when required.
- External Auditing: Conduct external audits of subcontractor work to ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Project-Specific Inspection and Testing: Write and implement project-specific inspection and testing plans to ensure the delivery of a quality product.
Requirements:
- Technical Background: Possess a technical background or engineering, welding, or welding inspector-related experience.
- Quality Systems Understanding: Have a thorough understanding of quality systems and auditing experience.
