Information Security Management System Manager

Babcock International Group is seeking an experienced Information Security Manager to join our team in Bristol. As an Information Security Manager, you will play a critical role in ensuring the security and integrity of our information systems and data.
Main Responsibilities:
- Manage the Mission Systems ISMS (Information Security Management System) and ISO Certification.
- Develop and implement a program leading to ISO Certification.
- Create policy, which will be reviewed and developed in line with ISO/ISO ISMS Framework.
- Develop and manage a program of Risk Assessment activity and provide support and guidance on implementation of Risk Management Controls.
- Carry out GAP Analysis and implementation activity in support of new acquisitions and Bid work.
- Develop and manage a Supply Chain due diligence programme of activity to identify and mitigate risk and impact of supplier/service/product use on Data Protection and Information Assurance requirements.
This role requires regular travel across a range of internal and customer sites on a monthly basis alongside home working arrangements.
Essential Experience:
- Proven experience working in the defence or public sector.
- Experience of International Standards including ISO, ISO or NIST Cyber Security Framework.
- Providing customer-facing IA advice and guidance.
Qualifications:
- Ideal degree qualified but HND/HNC level qualification in a relevant discipline with extensive experience in the relevant field will be considered.
Security Clearance
The successful candidate must be a sole UK national who is able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role with the ability to gain Developed Vetting (DV) once in post if required.
