Job Title: Shunter Driver

We are seeking a skilled Shunter Driver to join our team at GXO Logistics, Inc. in Rugby. As a Shunter Driver, you will be responsible for operating a vehicle in a safe and legal manner, strapping and photographing loads as required, moving trailers in the yard, and completing allocated paperwork correctly when needed.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operating a vehicle to transport goods safely and efficiently
  • Strapping and photographing loads to ensure secure transportation
  • Moving trailers in the yard to facilitate efficient operations
  • Completing paperwork accurately and on time
Requirements:
  • A full UK driving licence with category C+E entitlement
  • A valid Driver Qualification Card (Driver CPC)
  • A valid Digital Tachograph Card
  • No more than 6 current penalty points
  • No DR, DG, DD, BA, CD, AC, LC or TT99 endorsements with a conviction date within the previous 5 years
