About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Digital Test Engineer to join our expanding team in Leyland. As a Digital Test Engineer, you will play a key role in the testing and development of the next generation of driveline products, including electric vehicle (EV) systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create and maintain job-specific risk assessments for all tests performed.
  • Provide regular updates to customers, ensuring projects are delivered on time and to their expectations.
  • Review, analyse, and validate test data and results.
  • Ensure all testing equipment is properly calibrated and documentation is up to date.
  • Identify and implement improvements in systems of work, data handling, and processes.

Requirements:

  • A degree or equivalent experience in a relevant engineering discipline (Mechanical, Electrical, or Mechatronics).
  • A strong interest in driveline testing and development, including high-voltage (HV) electric machines.
  • Previous experience in driveline testing or mechanical/electric vehicle drive systems.
  • Proficiency in CAD, instrumentation, and data acquisition systems.
  • High-voltage awareness (training will be provided).
