About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Graduate Design Engineer to join our Transportation Team in Exeter, Devon. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for supporting the design and development of innovative solutions for flood risk management and drainage design.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with experienced engineers to address design challenges posed by climate change and ensure sustainable water management for various infrastructure projects.
  • Support the preparation of design calculations, hydraulic models, and technical reports.
  • Engage with clients and stakeholders to understand project needs and deliver on project goals.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to ensure designs meet cost, quality, and programme targets.

Requirements

We are looking for individuals who have a strong interest in flood risk management, drainage, and water quality improvement. Ideal candidates will have a degree in Civil Engineering, Civil and Coastal Engineering, Flood and Coastal Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Geography, or a related field. Previous experience in a relevant field is also desirable.
