About the Role

Aldwych Consulting Ltd is seeking a highly skilled Project Planner to join their team in Hampshire. As a Project Planner, you will play a crucial role in the success of our infrastructure schemes, working closely with the Planning Manager and site teams to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Planning and Programming: Develop and maintain detailed project plans using P6, ensuring alignment with overall project objectives and timelines.
  • Progress Review and Forward Planning: Ensure the review of progress, forward planning, and lookahead programmes are carried out to identify potential risks and delays.
  • Risk Identification and Management: Identify and mitigate risks that could impact project delivery.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Provide expert planning support and guidance on NEC contract requirements, ensuring effective communication and collaboration between project teams, stakeholders, and external partners.
  • Site Visits and Stakeholder Meetings: Attend site visits and stakeholder meetings to monitor progress and resolve issues.
Requirements
  • Education and Qualifications: A degree or certificate in Civil Engineering or Construction Management.
  • Driving License: A UK driving license is required.
  • Knowledge and Experience: Knowledge of NEC form of contracts, experience of Primavera P6, and expert knowledge of techniques for planning, monitoring, and controlling programmes.
  • Desirable Skills: Experience of Earned Value Management and working on civil engineering projects.
