Residential Property Paralegal Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Residential Property Paralegal to join our in-house team of lawyers at McKinlay Law. As a key member of our property investment company, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and coordinating the conveyancing needs of our business.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage buyer and seller queries via email or telephone, ensuring timely and effective communication.
  • Validate and query completion statements at purchase, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Progress sale files and deal with enquiries and replies, subject to oversight and supervision.
  • Perform general administration tasks, including handling correspondence, scanning, and diary management.
  • Prepare Stamp Duty Land Tax Forms and Land Transaction Tax Forms for both freehold and leasehold properties.
  • Liaise with Freeholder and Management Company in relation to leaseholder packs and deal with Notices post completion.
  • Assist with secured lending work, including sending initial documentation.
  • Support exchanges and completions in respect of residential matters.
  • Liaise with estate agents and handle general telephone queries for residential matters.

We are looking for a paralegal with proven work experience and knowledge of the conveyancing process from initial instruction to post completion.
