Key Responsibilities- Curriculum Development and Leadership
- Support the Head of Curriculum in the development and implementation of curriculum plans, ensuring alignment with College key performance indicators.
- Lead the management of curriculum areas, including curriculum planning, development, and delivery.
- Line Management and Performance Monitoring
- Line manage direct reports, including programme leaders, lecturers, instructors, and technicians, ensuring effective communication and high levels of performance.
- Monitor provision against key performance indicators and benchmarks, implementing improvement plans where necessary.
- Quality Enhancement and Assurance
- Support the Head of Curriculum in liaising with the central Quality unit in all aspects of quality enhancement and self-assessment processes.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of quality assurance processes, ensuring high standards of teaching and learning.
- Recruitment and Staff Management
- Contribute to HR processes, including recruitment and performance management of staff.
- Support the implementation of staff development and training programs, ensuring staff are equipped to deliver high-quality teaching and learning.
- Additional Responsibilities
- Manage Digital Apprenticeships and Higher Education Programs, ensuring high levels of performance and compliance with College requirements.
- Build and maintain relationships with employers, ensuring excellent service and high levels of satisfaction.
- Qualified to degree level or equivalent in a related subject area.
- Qualified teacher status.

- Experience of deploying learning technologies and tracking processes.
