Reporting Structure:
This role reports directly to the Financial Reporting Manager and is integral to the daily accounting operations of various fund entities.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Manage the bookkeeping for a diverse array of funds, management entities, and related structures while coordinating with clients and intermediaries as required.
- Oversee all accounting functions for a designated portfolio of fund entities, which includes the preparation, reconciliation, and verification of investor reports, statutory financial statements, and responding to ad-hoc investor inquiries.
- Address routine audit inquiries effectively.
- Conduct regular bank reconciliations and supply supporting documentation for all transactions.
- Maintain precise records using eFront and Microsoft Excel for all accounting activities.
- Prepare and reconcile periodic direct and indirect tax returns.
- Provide mentorship to junior team members under the guidance of senior staff.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Candidates should be part-qualified with a relevant professional certification, ideally having commenced the ACCA Professional level or ACA Advanced level.
- Previous experience in the industry is essential.
- Strong background in financial services is necessary, supported through the Aztec Academy.
- Proficiency in computer skills is crucial.
