Lead IAM Specialist Opportunity

Lorien's leading Public Sector Client in Glasgow is seeking a highly experienced IAM Specialist to join their team on an initial 5-month contract.

The ideal candidate will be able to work on-site in Glasgow or Dundee 2x per week.

This role presents an opportunity to lead on an improvement programme centred around Identity and Access Management.

The Opportunity

You will play a leading role in scoping, defining, and delivering a programme of work related to improving technical, process, and systems components of effective identity and access management.

Your focus will be on understanding current capabilities, identifying improvements, establishing a series of projects to deliver improvements, and defining our overall strategic approach in conjunction with key stakeholders and senior leadership.

Key Skills and Experience
  1. Relevant practical experience of technical project management and delivery of security solutions, particularly in the scoping and delivery of controls and technologies related to identity and access management domains.
  2. Background in discovery activities and strategic direction-setting including requirements capture, stakeholder consultation, management of internal and external ICT delivery partners, and management of multi-disciplinary IT teams to deliver effective digital and/or security solutions is essential for this role.
  3. Previous experience working in the public sector, and with identity and access management solutions or other security-related domains would be advantageous.
