Ritz Recruitment is currently on the lookout for a Temporary Facilities Maintenance Technician to join our dynamic team at a prominent Student Accommodation site in the City of London.

Role Overview:
The successful candidate will collaborate with the Maintenance Manager to perform a variety of general maintenance and handyman tasks throughout the facility. This position offers a fantastic opportunity to be part of a dedicated team, ensuring the efficient operation of a prestigious accommodation environment.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Execute general maintenance duties in both indoor and outdoor areas of the property.
2. Plumbing Responsibilities:
- Clear blockages in toilets and sinks.
- Replace washers and repair leaking taps.
- Descale shower heads as necessary.
3. Assist in room refurbishments, including:
- Painting and decorating.
- Mastic application and grouting.
- Silicone sealing.
4. Perform general carpentry tasks, such as:
- Repairing doors and locks.
5. Move furniture and conduct mastic work as required.
6. Report maintenance issues promptly.
7. Undertake various ad hoc maintenance tasks as needed.

Skills & Attributes:
- Proven experience in maintenance or handyman roles, preferably in a residential or domestic context.
- Background in trades such as plumbing, carpentry, electrical work, or tiling.
- Strong customer service orientation and a collaborative team spirit.
- Commitment to adhering to all Health and Safety regulations.
- Friendly, approachable demeanor with a helpful attitude.
