Role Overview

At Commercial Services Group, our Outdoor Maintenance Specialists are engaged in various tasks, including turf management, garden upkeep, shrub trimming, and collaborating with educational institutions for their athletic fields.

Candidates should be self-driven, excellent communicators, and possess a solid understanding of Health and Safety regulations and safe operational practices.

Given the nature of the work, we require the selected candidate to hold a Full (Clean) Driving License and be willing to undergo a thorough background check.

Key Responsibilities

Upholding health and safety standards consistently and identifying potential hazards, reporting issues to senior personnel as necessary. Executing daily tasks for our client contracts while maintaining a high standard of customer service. Performing safety inspections on tools and equipment. Utilizing all tools and materials appropriately and safely, ensuring compliance with established standards, and seeking guidance from the Team Leader when needed. Regularly communicating with clients to address any concerns or issues, documenting problems, and implementing instructions as required, ensuring that Commercial Services Group is represented professionally. When necessary, assisting with adverse weather conditions, such as snow removal or managing flooded areas.

What We Seek

Experience in outdoor maintenance, preferably in a similar capacity. Knowledge of horticultural practices and operational procedures. Proven experience in mowing and related tasks. Familiarity with machinery maintenance and operational skills. Ability to commute as required.
