A Mechanical Assembly Technician is sought for a leading provider of manufacturing equipment known for its global reputation. This position offers a fantastic opportunity to become part of a company dedicated to the growth and development of its workforce. You will be working in a state-of-the-art facility and joining a growing team.

The ideal candidate will possess a solid background in mechanical engineering and be proficient in interpreting technical drawings and specifications. We welcome applicants from diverse industry backgrounds.

Preferred qualifications include a mechanical engineering apprenticeship or equivalent experience, along with a strong understanding of pneumatic systems and basic electrical principles.

The successful Mechanical Assembly Technician will collaborate with a team of around 10 members to ensure that assemblies are produced accurately and on time.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assemble and fit machine components and subassemblies according to engineering specifications
  • Utilize hand and power tools effectively
  • Operate pillar drills, deburring tools, and grinding equipment
  • Employ measuring instruments to verify component specifications
  • Install piping, pneumatic, and water circuits using copper or plastic materials
  • Disassemble and prepare machinery for painting and dispatch
  • Occasionally assist installation teams at client locations

Candidate Profile:

  • Background in mechanical assembly or fitting
  • Experience from any industry sector
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering and technical drawings
