Vacancy for Archivist at Loughborough University

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Archivist to join our team at Loughborough University Library. As an Archivist, you will play a crucial role in managing the University Archive service, overseeing the development of physical and digital collections, and ensuring they are preserved, discoverable, and accessible for teaching and research purposes.

About the Role: This is a part-time, 5fte permanent post based at our East Midlands Loughborough Campus. You will report to the Content Provision and Access Lead and work closely with the University Library team to develop the University Archive.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the University Archive service, including the development of physical and digital collections.
  • Oversee the preservation, discoverability, and accessibility of the University Archive.
  • Work closely with the University Library team to develop the University Archive.
