Job Summary:

Morgan Ryder Associates Limited is seeking a skilled Cost Estimator to join our team. As a Cost Estimator, you will play a crucial role in providing cost estimates that support commercial and customer requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain accurate cost estimates for manufacturing projects.
  • Identify opportunities to improve enquiry to order conversion rates and implement process improvements.
  • Review and offer solutions to high-value enquiries to ensure optimal commercial outcomes.
  • Ensure all projects and enquiries are logged onto the system, providing timely updates to stakeholders.
  • Monitor and audit commercial, sales, and quality processes to identify areas for improvement.
  • Create manufacturing cost sheets to promote accuracy in price lists.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in costings within a manufacturing environment.
  • Excellent organisational and IT skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to prioritise workloads to meet deadlines.
