Theatre Support Worker/Kit Coordinator
Role Summary
The Theatre Support Worker/Kit Coordinator is a vital role within our organization, dedicated to ensuring the seamless operation of theatre services. This full-time position requires a proactive and skilled individual to collaborate effectively with our surgical team, other departments, and external partners.
As the primary point of contact for managing and overseeing theatre kits, the successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining effective communication regarding the procurement and accountability of essential equipment, instruments, and implants to meet operational demands.
Proficiency in IT systems that enhance service delivery, such as MAXIMS, is essential. The ability to cultivate strong professional relationships is also crucial.
Candidates should demonstrate experience in strategic planning and possess the capability to thrive in a dynamic environment.
Qualifications and Skills
- NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Health and Social Care is preferred
- Capacity to perform under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities
- Proven track record in customer service
