We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Care Assistant to join our team at Oakmead, a registered care home in Weston Turville. As a Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with learning and physical disabilities to lead independent and fulfilling lives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with personal care needs, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Support with mealtimes and social activities, promoting skills and involvement
  • Accompany individuals on day trips and attend appointments to maintain their health and well-being
  • Follow agreed support plans and risk assessments to ensure a highly effective service

Requirements:

  • Caring and enthusiastic individual with a 'can-do' attitude
  • Effective communicator with the ability to adapt to complex needs
  • Previous experience as a care assistant is desirable but not essential
  • Ability to work shifts, including weekends and bank holidays
