We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled professional to lead our Renewable Energy Operations team in the UK. As a key member of our Operations and Maintenance leadership team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our offshore wind farm, including logistics, facilities management, and vessel management.
Key Responsibilities- Logistics and Facilities Management: Oversee the management of our logistics and facilities operations, including port services, warehousing, and stores.
- Vessel Management: Manage multiple large-scale vessel contracts, ensuring that our operations are running efficiently and effectively.
- Contract Management: Negotiate and manage contracts related to logistical operations, security, and facility management.
- Team Leadership: Lead and manage a team of logistics and facilities professionals, providing guidance and support to ensure the success of our operations.
- Interface with Construction Projects: Hold the interface with construction projects for O&M Base usage and vessel sharing.
- Port Facility Security: Act as the owner of the O&M Base facilities and be responsible for associated facility management, including ensuring compliance with ISPS regulations.
- Spares and Material Management: Responsible for spares and material management at site, including goods manifesting and handling of dangerous goods.
- Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Logistics, Engineering, or a relevant subject.
- Experience: Significant experience in a similar maritime logistics role, ideally within offshore wind.
- Management Experience: Extensive management experience of a warehousing and logistics team.
- Technical Skills: Familiarity with SAP material handling systems and experience of managing vessel contracts, warehousing, stores, and logistics.
