About the Role

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Cover Supervisor to join our team at a thriving secondary school in Towcester, Northamptonshire.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise classes during the short-term absence of teachers, ensuring a positive learning environment and maintaining continuity of education.
  • Manage classroom behaviour effectively, supporting students with their learning and addressing any questions or concerns.
  • Deliver pre-prepared lessons, ensuring students stay on task and make progress.
  • Collaborate with teaching staff and other cover supervisors to ensure smooth operations and effective communication.
Requirements
  • A degree in any discipline.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage classroom behaviour effectively.
  • A positive and proactive attitude.
  • Previous experience in a similar role is desirable but not essential.
  • A valid driving license and access to a vehicle is preferred.
