Senior Structural Engineer Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Structural Engineer to join our team at Walker Dendle. As a leading Forensic Structural & Civil Engineers, we provide expert witness services across the UK and occasionally internationally.

The ideal candidate will be a Chartered (or near) Structural Engineer with a strong background in Civil or Structural Engineering, preferably from a top 10 UK university. They will have a good career history, excellent technical skills, and excellent communication skills. The candidate should be able to deliver good solutions to complex failures and have a good understanding of expert witness projects.

We offer a competitive top base salary and benefits package, up to £70,000, for this Senior Structural Engineer position. There is also scope for progression through to Partner level in the medium-term.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver expert witness services on a diverse mix of projects across the UK and internationally
  • Work closely with clients to understand their needs and provide solutions
  • Collaborate with other engineers to deliver complex projects
  • Develop and maintain technical skills and knowledge

Requirements:

  • Chartered (or near) Structural Engineer with IStructE and/or ICE
  • MEng/MSc in Civil or Structural Engineering from a top 10 UK university
  • Good career history with a mix of technical and client-facing experience
  • Excellent communication and technical skills
