Facilities Management Professional

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Facilities Supervisor to join our operational Facilities Management team at The Mid Yorkshire Teaching NHS Trust.
The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a team of support service assistants in delivering excellent cleanliness standards, housekeeping, and domestic services.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise and coordinate the daily delivery of a high-quality service in accordance with National Standards of Healthcare Cleanliness.
- Train, monitor, and supervise facilities staff in all aspects of their role.
- Work collaboratively with key partners, support clinical teams, and establish and maintain good working relationships.
- Monitor areas of responsibility to ensure service standards are consistently delivered.
- Support the reduction in food wastage and maintain a safe working environment.
- Undertake initial investigation and reporting of untoward incidents and accidents.
- Manage annual leave requests and maintain accurate records.
- Previous supervisory experience in a healthcare setting.
- Good standard of education in English and Maths.
- Knowledge of clerical work, keyboard skills, and basic PC systems.
- Awareness of Health & Safety issues and Moving & Handling procedures.
- Ability to satisfy Occupational Health screening and maintain confidentiality.
