Key Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate and monitor residents' health conditions, aiding in clinical decisions and problem-solving.
  • Encourage effective communication among healthcare professionals and collaborate with various departments.
  • Ensure adherence to care home policies and procedures, implementing and upholding safety measures.
  • Efficiently manage nursing resources, contributing to budget planning and oversight.
  • Identify opportunities for quality enhancement and implement necessary adjustments.
  • Lead the nursing team, ensuring high-quality care in line with regulatory standards and best practices.
  • Supervise and mentor nursing staff, ensuring appropriate skill mix and staffing levels. Facilitate continuous training and development for the nursing team to enhance their expertise.
  • Assess and monitor the quality of care provided, conducting regular evaluations to identify areas for improvement. Implement and manage measures to ensure compliance with relevant regulatory standards and policies.
  • Conduct patient evaluations and assist in creating personalized care plans. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive and individualized care for residents.

  • NMC Registered
  • Experience in a nursing home setting.
