Compensation: £12,000 per session, including five clinical hours and one for CPD/admin, along with paid indemnity.

Key Responsibilities

Primary Duties

  • Manage 13 patients per session, collaborating with an Advanced Nurse Practitioner and a dedicated team.
  • Experience minimal patient visits, capped at two per week (often none), with no care home responsibilities.
  • Participate in monthly training and team-building sessions during clinical closure afternoons.
  • Utilize SystmOne with comprehensive Ardens templates for efficient practice management.
  • Benefit from allocated time for shared administrative and prescription responsibilities.

We are a federation of medical practices across the region, operating with a community-focused ethos and owned entirely by our member practices. Our recent acquisition of a local surgery has allowed us to expand our services.

Our practice serves a patient base of 4,000, supported by a stable and collaborative team, including a Lead Nurse, Advanced Nurse Practitioners, and a Healthcare Assistant, along with a Social Prescriber and a Pharmacy Technician. We prioritize reducing GP workload through effective task delegation and support.

This is a traditional practice situated in a community setting, backed by a larger network. We ensure safe staffing levels, eliminate on-call sessions, and provide capped workloads, along with opportunities for career development and mentorship.
