About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Midwife to join our team at East Kent Hospitals University NHS Foundation Trust. As a Band 6 Community Midwife, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality midwifery care to our patients and contributing to the development of our midwifery services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive midwifery care to women and their families, including antenatal, intrapartum, and postnatal care.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Contribute to the development of midwifery services, including the implementation of new policies and procedures.
  • Participate in education and training programs to enhance your skills and knowledge.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure effective communication and care delivery.
Requirements
  • Registered Midwife with a valid NMC registration.
  • Band 6 experience in a community midwifery setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
