Corporate Tax Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Corporate Tax Manager to join our team at Oxford University Press. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for managing our group's corporate tax affairs, ensuring compliance with tax laws and regulations, and providing strategic advice to our business leaders.
Key Responsibilities- Manage the group's corporate tax affairs, including tax planning, compliance, and risk management.
- Provide strategic advice to our business leaders on tax-related matters, including structuring business initiatives and managing tax risks.
- Ensure compliance with tax laws and regulations, including the preparation of tax returns and the management of tax audits.
- Develop and implement tax strategies to optimize our group's tax position and minimize tax liabilities.
- Collaborate with our finance team to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
- You will have a strong background in tax, with a UK tax qualification (e.g. Chartered Institute of Taxation) and experience in corporate tax.
- You will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with our business leaders and other stakeholders.
- You will have a strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex tax issues and develop effective solutions.
- You will have a strong understanding of tax laws and regulations, with the ability to stay up-to-date with changes in the tax environment.
