Back Office Application Support Specialist

Job Summary:

The Back Office Application Support Analyst will be responsible for providing technical support and maintenance for middle and back-office production applications. This role requires a strong understanding of application support and a proactive approach to resolving issues.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical support and maintenance for middle and back-office production applications
  • Deliver ongoing application release cycle changes and onboarding new applications
  • Monitor and maintain application performance, availability, and automation of repetitive tasks
  • Collaborate with the business community to increase customer knowledge, capability, and system satisfaction
  • Manage user expectations during incident resolution and issue lifecycle
  • Support end-of-day batch processing across the application portfolio
  • Complete assigned deliverables with minimal day-to-day management
  • Flexibility to work outside regular hours for release or maintenance activities

Requirements:

  • Experience in providing application support in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong understanding of application support and technical skills
  • Proactive approach to resolving issues and improving application performance
  • Ability to work collaboratively with the business community
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
