Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled HGV Technician to become a vital part of our family-owned enterprise. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining and repairing our fleet of heavy goods vehicles, ensuring they operate at peak performance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform maintenance, servicing, and repairs on our fleet of HGV trucks and commercial trailers/tankers to meet DVSA standards with minimal oversight.
  • Accurately document all completed work and maintenance activities.
  • Prepare vehicles to a high standard for their MOT assessments.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workshop environment.

Essential Qualifications:
  • A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience, preferably with an NVQ level 3 in vehicle maintenance.
  • Strong technical expertise in vehicle systems.
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations.
  • Experience in diagnostics and troubleshooting.
  • Ability to work independently without supervision.
  • A valid UK driving licence.

Physical Demands:
This role requires physical stamina, including the ability to stand for extended periods, lift heavy items regularly, and perform repetitive tasks as necessary. Working outdoors is also a component of this position.
