Wincanton is seeking an HGV Class 1 Operator to become part of our dedicated team. The vehicles you will be operating include a variety of crane vehicles, drawbar crane vehicles, and rigid crane vehicles.

Annual Salary: £43,195.00 Work Schedule: Monday to Friday Weekly Hours: 48 Start Times: Between 04:00 - 07:00 Daily Working Hours: 9.6 Overtime Opportunities Available Home Every Night/Option to Tramp

Key Responsibilities:

You will be responsible for delivering customer orders to various locations, demonstrating a positive attitude and exceptional customer service skills while maintaining professionalism in challenging situations. You will operate crane vehicles, ensuring daily maintenance and cleanliness, as you represent our company. Customer satisfaction is paramount; therefore, you will adhere to health and safety standards and comply with specific customer requirements. Punctuality is essential for timely deliveries, and we offer various shifts with opportunities for overtime and occasional weekend work.

Required Qualifications:

Valid C+E Class 1 Licence Valid CPC Certification Digital Tachograph Card No more than 6 points on driving licence Experience with cranes/drawbars is desirable HIAB, Palfinger roll loader/fixed mounted cranes, and brick grab experience are advantageous Strong customer service skills Reliable timekeeper with the ability to work independently Enthusiastic and dependable, committed to delivering excellent customer service with a flexible approach Proficient in English communication and writing skills Good geographical knowledge
