Job Overview

Position: Cyber Security Analyst

Location: Glasgow

Compensation: £60,000+

Locke & McCloud is in search of a driven Cyber Security Analyst to become a part of a worldwide cyber security team within a reputable organization. This position is crucial for maintaining the security and integrity of the company's IT systems on a global scale. The successful candidate will serve as the escalation point for the Global Security Team.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Investigate and document vulnerabilities and risks associated with IT systems.
  • Oversee and report on the organization's adherence to security protocols to the Security leadership.
  • Act as the main point of contact for all issues escalated to the Global Security Team via the ticketing system.
  • Review and enforce security policies to ensure compliance with client or organizational requirements.
  • Manage access to the organization's Information Systems and oversee related security configurations.
  • Identify and respond to all information security incidents within the organization's environment.
  • Contribute to the security of the architecture and enhance the overall security framework.
  • Assist in the planning for Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery initiatives.

Candidate Profile:

  • Strong understanding of ISO 27001 standards.
  • Technical knowledge of firewall systems.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Able to thrive in a diverse team setting and adapt to the evolving needs of the environment.
  • Capable of working under pressure and meeting deadlines.
  • Maintains confidentiality and exercises discretion consistently.
  • Exceptional problem-solving abilities.
