About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our Environmental Consultancy team at RSK Group. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for planning, executing, and monitoring projects to meet our clients' requirements.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in environmental project management, with experience in managing technical teams, coordinating multi-discipline projects, and driving innovation and efficiencies into project delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, execute, and monitor projects to ensure they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • Manage technical teams' time, cost, quality, resource, communications, risk, procurement, and stakeholder management.
  • Coordinate and manage multi-discipline and cross-sector projects, ensuring effective collaboration and communication among team members.
  • Drive innovation and efficiencies into project delivery, identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing changes as needed.
  • Ensure Health and Safety is at the heart of all projects, with a strong focus on risk management and mitigation.
  • Understand client needs and deliver projects that meet their expectations.
  • Work closely with our proposals teams to ensure smooth transition from project tender to delivery.
  • Assess technical and commercial risk of projects during the sales process.
  • Create and review proposals and costings for new projects.

Requirements:

  • Degree in an Environment-related field.
  • Passion for delivering sustainability to clients and projects.
  • Ambition for a project management role covering environmental projects.
  • Ability to work under time pressure and balance multiple priorities.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with staff, clients, and partners.
  • Understanding of consultancy commercial models for both project delivery and tender development.
  • Collaborative individual with strong team-building skills.
  • Driven to develop and improve technical skills and advance career.
