Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer to join our small, collaborative, Agile team working on 2 week sprints. As a Senior Software Engineer, you will focus on backend system design, event driven architecture and APIs with a focus on scalability and reliability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop scalable, distributed systems using Golang
  • Collaborate with the team to design and implement event driven architectures
  • Develop and maintain APIs with a focus on scalability and reliability
  • Work closely with the team to identify and prioritize technical requirements
  • Participate in technical discussions and decision making

Requirements:

  • Experience in backend focussed software engineering with strong commercial Golang development experience
  • Experience with system design, event driven architectures, Kafka, API development
  • Thorough understanding of Computer Science fundamentals such as OOP, Design Patterns, Data Structures
  • Experience of working on scalable, distributed systems
  • Collaborative with Agile team experience

What We Offer:

  • Salary to £95k
  • Hybrid working (x3 days office)
