Job Overview:

We are looking for a Technical Innovation Consultant to become a part of our Research & Development Innovation team. In this position, you will be instrumental in identifying and executing innovative solutions to address the changing needs of our customers and the organization. You will collaborate with both internal and external stakeholders to facilitate change and deliver measurable benefits.

Key Responsibilities:


• Assess and choose innovative concepts to tackle risks and opportunities

• Continuously enhance knowledge in clean water technologies

• Develop and sustain technical networks for knowledge exchange

• Work with stakeholders to prioritize innovation initiatives

• Oversee the execution of innovation projects and ensure alignment with business objectives

• Forge partnerships with industry specialists for idea generation and project execution

• Secure funding for initiatives, including engagement with external sources

Qualifications:

Essential:


• Degree in a scientific or engineering discipline related to clean water

• Enthusiasm for ongoing learning and staying updated on emerging technologies

• Capability to challenge conventional thinking, innovate, and build relationships

• Valid UK Driving licence with a clean record

Desirable:


• Familiarity with water company operations and regulatory frameworks

• Experience in executing innovative projects and fostering cultural change

• Previous experience in a commercial or regulated setting
