We are seeking a highly skilled Systems Build Engineer to join our team at Nyke Energy Services Ltd. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in the commissioning, operation, maintenance, and upgrading of building energy management systems.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead all aspects of commissioning BMS projects, including software creation, running of plant, checking of field devices, graphics generation, and client training.
- Responsible for completion of commissioning documentation, site reports, and software backups.
- Liaise with project team on a daily basis and provide regular updates on the progress of the project.
- Be fully conversant with BMS systems, capabilities, and limitations to assist in the correct installation and operation of each bespoke system.
- Carry out inspections of existing BEMS installations, update records and working drawings, prepare reports, and briefs for upgrading or modification where needed.
- Investigate operation of the system with particular reference to energy efficiency, identify energy-saving strategies, consult with colleagues regarding implementation, monitor, and report on effectiveness of changes.
- Liaise with building occupants to understand their needs and issues, balancing these requirements with the need for energy cost savings and reductions in environmental emissions.
- Be health and safety conscious at all times, filling in risk assessments, and wearing relevant PPE.
- Electrical technician qualification or equivalent.
- Electrical engineering qualification, degree, or equivalent is highly desirable.
- Ability to demonstrate accuracy, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills.
- Full UK driving license.
