We are seeking a qualified early years educator to become a part of our dedicated team at a nursery. The ideal candidate will be tasked with delivering exceptional care and educational experiences to children aged 0-5 years.
This role involves working in a nurturing environment where you will contribute to the development and well-being of young children.
The position requires a commitment of 40 hours a week, Monday to Friday, on a flexible rota from 8am to 6pm.
The nursery is conveniently located near public transport routes, making it accessible for all staff members.Key Responsibilities:
- Designing and implementing activities that foster the physical, social, emotional, and cognitive growth of children.
- Ensuring a safe, engaging, and stimulating atmosphere for all children.
- Establishing and maintaining positive relationships with parents and guardians.
- Keeping precise records of each child's progress and development.
- Assisting in the daily operations of the nursery, supporting children, and utilizing your initiative to promote their success.
Qualifications:
It is essential to possess an NVQ Level 2 Child Care Qualification.
Experience in a nursery, primary, or pre-prep setting within the last two years is required, along with a reference.
A clean enhanced DBS Check on the update service is necessary; if you do not have one, the nursery will facilitate the process for you.
Flexibility and a vibrant personality that engages children are crucial for this role.
A solid understanding of child development and effective behavior management strategies is important.
This is an excellent opportunity to work in nurseries rated Good and Outstanding by Ofsted.The nursery is also open to providing additional training to staff, supporting their career advancement and professional growth.
