Cleaning Operative

About the Role
We are seeking a reliable and self-motivated Cleaning Operative to join our team at Royal Mail Property & Facilities Solutions. As a Cleaning Operative, you will be responsible for maintaining the high standards of cleanliness and hygiene in our mail centres and facilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
- Operating a variety of cleaning equipment and machinery
- Emptying bins, dusting, and sanitising surfaces
- Working independently and as part of a team
- Communicating effectively with colleagues and managers
About You
We are looking for someone who is physically fit, able to work at heights, and has good manual handling skills. Previous cleaning experience is desirable, but not essential. You will need to be able to work flexibly, including weekends and bank holidays.
What We Offer
We offer a competitive hourly rate, 22.5 days annual leave (rising to 25 after 5 years' service), plus bank holidays, uniform, PPE, and a Defined Contribution pension scheme. You will also have the opportunity to develop your skills and career with Royal Mail Property & Facilities Solutions.
