The WEC Group Ltd, a leading UK fabrication company, is expanding its services and seeking a skilled Sheet Metal Worker to join its team. With over 40 years of experience in metal fabrication, the company is well-established in the industry and has a strong reputation for delivering high-quality products.
Role Overview
As a Sheet Metal Worker, you will be responsible for fabricating, assembling, and finishing metal parts, primarily working with laser-cut profiles. You will work closely with the production team to ensure all products meet the highest quality standards and are delivered on time.
Key Responsibilities
- Fabricating and assembling metal parts using various techniques and equipment
- Operating laser-cutting machines and other fabrication equipment
- Inspecting and testing finished products to ensure quality and accuracy
- Collaborating with the production team to meet production deadlines and quality standards
Requirements
- TIG welding and fabrication experience
- Ability to read engineering drawings and specifications
- Experience in brake press setting and operating
- Basic inspection equipment skills
- Good communication and teamwork skills
