Job Summary:

Vanta Staffing Limited is seeking a reliable and experienced Class 2 Driver to join our team in the Reading area. As a Class 2 Driver, you will be responsible for carrying out multi-drop and installation work, working closely with a driver's mate to ensure efficient and safe delivery of goods.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Complete multi-drop delivery and installation work with a driver's mate
  • Conduct regular vehicle checks to ensure compliance with safety regulations
  • Be flexible and able to complete runs safely, adhering to company policies and procedures

Requirements:

  • Minimum 18 months HGV driving (Cat C) recent experience
  • Valid CPC and digital tachograph
  • No more than 6 points on your driving license (no DR or IN codes)

Benefits:

  • Competitive hourly rate: £16ph (days), £18.75ph (overtime), £18.75ph (Saturdays)
  • Opportunity for ongoing work with potential to go permanent for the right candidate

Working Hours:

Monday to Friday (early starts) with potential for weekend work
