About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Service Technician - Fire Safety Specialist to join our team in Aberdeen. As a Service Technician - Fire Safety Specialist, you will be responsible for the inspection, service, and maintenance of fire protection and safety equipment on offshore fixed platforms and mobile assets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Inspect and service fire protection and safety equipment, including portable fire extinguishers, fire hoses and hydrants, foam making equipment, fixed gaseous fire systems, water-foam based fire systems, and wet chemical fire systems
  • Perform safety equipment inspections and inventory
  • Be customer-facing and plan work scopes
  • Work with service teams to ensure seamless delivery of services

Requirements

  • Experience in a similar role
  • Experience of fire protection equipment and suppression systems
  • Competent in the inspection and service of fire protection and safety equipment
  • Good communication and numeracy skills
  • Self-motivated with good IT skills
  • Ability to work independently and as a team player
  • Customer-focused
  • Knowledge of fire and safety legislation

Preferred Qualifications

  • Offshore survival certification (BOSIET)
  • OG UK Medical certification
